We figured that the mousewheel event could make the scrolling within the parent document really hard. So now, instead of applying the mousewheel event to the whole gallery container, it only affects the column of the left-hand of the slideshow. This way, you can still use you mouse's wheel normally on the rest of the document, even when you gallery is taking the whole width.

Hey, just wondering if you're planning on updating the gallery any time soon, as at present it's fairly broken in most browsers.

IE8 only shows tiny thumbnails as the full images, and Safari, Chrome & Firefox shrink the images to nothing when you click on the thumbnail.

Any chance of an update to patch these faults, or at least let me know which lines to edit so I can get it to show a fixed size for the main image.
